Due to the weather conditions the work on the runway has been postponed.  If weather doesn't permit the work to start tomorrow, Wednesday, August 8th, we will likely have to put it off until next week.

Some of the runway markings on the approach end of 9 need to be repainted to conform to standard markings.  The easiest way for this to be done is to seal coat over the existing markings and repaint the following day.  To do it correctly we need to close that end of the runway on August 7 & 8.  We anticipate the work being done early in the day allowing us to reopen the runway in the afternoons.

Please be aware there may be equipment and people on the runway tomorrow, Wednesday, August 8th.

In addition, there are two areas at the Phase II entrance that were patched and will be seal coated on Tuesday morning.  The entrance will be unavailable for a few hours in the morning.
