Thanks to a large volunteer group (Corey Althouse, Mike Ballee, Rob Bridgers, Festus Burchfield, Don Cook, Corey Kroll, Steve Mestler, Mike Moore, Don Nowakowski, Tony Scribner , and some I feel I am leaving off and apologize), approximately 2000 feet of runway was crack sealed today from 9am until 4:30 pm.      We had roughly 1200 in expenses (material, etc).   So we expect the full runway to be well under $2000 as compared to 8000-10000 hiring the job done.    So thank the above volunteers that worked so hard today to make this savings happen for the neighborhood.

As far as our next work:  We are waiting for new material to be delivered.   Then we have a large group leaving for Sun N Fun next week.   So we will tentatively plan for a work day late in the week after Sun N Fun depending on weather.   The runway closure notice will come out as soon as we see a weather window that looks appropriate for the task.

Thanks again for the great volunteers today.  These events are not the same as gathering for food but still a fun way to interact with one another as we work on a common goal.

Thanks, Dennis.
