Lets plan on making a trip to Pickens County Airport on Friday May 22nd !
Why? Well, did you know that Champion Aerospace has a aviation Spark plug plant in Liberty SC ?
Shane Rampy Tech Support of ChampionAerospace mentioned to Lucy and George Walters at Sun N Fun last week that he would welcome us all on a tour of the plant.
Lucy mentioned it in an e-mail to me this morning and I followed up with Shane a moment ago. We are set!
Lets plan on arrival by 9:30 at Pickens County Airport (KLQK) AGAIN FRIDAY MAY 22.Shane will arrange transportation to pick us up and take us to the plant for the tour
If poor weather we can load up the cars and drive directly to the plant .
PLEASE RESPOND TO MEjim@bellaviation.com TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GOING (even if driving ) I will also post a sign up sheet in the SAC
We could plan on stopping somewhere for lunch on the way back if interest exists.
Lets get the wings dusted off and GO !!!
