Hi all! I’ve been trying to get more into running lately while working up to a 5K. I’ve been planning to run it on August 26 at 7am as a sort of graduation celebration and thought it would be fun to invite anyone else in the neighborhood who’s interested. Feel free to join along and run or walk it!

We cleaned off all the peaches on our tree and have way more than we can manage.

Funeral information: Starts at 2 pm at Pisgah Lutheran Church 1350 Pisgah Church Rd. It’s moderate to small so seating may be limited. Graveside services immediately follow the indoor service.

Whiteplains Plantation (SC99) to Twin Lakes (S17) Lunch Flight on 4/26/2023

The First to arrive.

Several of us at Whiteplanes Plantation flew over to

Twin Lakes Airport for lunch. While it wasn't very far it was a bumpy trip.

The food at the restaurant was good and the price was very reasonable.

Whiteplains Announcements List - Soup-off 2023

 

Despite the weather, sick neighbors, and a technical glitch we managed to collect $316 tonight.  That’s only $4 less than last year! We had 9 soup entries this year. LeAnne Scribner took top honors. The other winners were Denise Bryan and John and Leslie Buzzell.  I don’t remember which one was second or third place. Thanks to my co-host Jeanette and Kimberly, Ken for use of his hangar, and Jack for donating wood bowls for the silent auction. Also, a big THANKS to those who came out in the nasty weather to support the cause.
