join me in expressing our congratulations and gratitude to Jeff Cargile
and Ray Ackerman for their good work in securing the agreement to clear
the trees at the end of runway 27. Jeff
and Ray worked quietly and efficiently behind the scenes for many weeks
to complete this transaction, and we appreciate their efforts.
Everyone,
but especially those of us with the modestly powered planes, will enjoy
this improvement; as the continuing view of trees during our runway 27
takeoff roll was always very interesting.
(unlike Jeff’s Husky…… which climbs straight up!)
For
those neighbors who have pledged their support of the purchase,
clearing and seeding, our sincere thanks. Many of you have given us
