Not the nicest weather but it was a smooth flight.  

A bunch of rain east of my flight coming back.

Whiteplains Soup-Off - Tonight at 6:00 PM 2/10/2024

 

12 years ago, Jean and I started the annual SC99 soup-off fund raiser/fellowship to support our local community. I don’t have the exact numbers, but we have raised thousands of dollars which has been given to support local food banks and help pay lunch debts in several Gilbert schools. It been a great experience hosting this event, but the time has come to hand this event off. Kimberly Brennan and Jeanette Simpson have stepped up to the plate to continue this community event. I am extremely grateful to them for doing this and will continue to support them by providing tables and chairs etc. Please join us tonight as we continue a long-standing tradition. Thanks to all to have supported us throughout the years!  Soup-off starts at 6:00pm at Ken Plesser’s hangar.
