Next Saturday, January 31, at 6:30 pm we are hosting our 4th Annual Soup-Off.
Money raised this year will go to Gilbert elementary to help feed needy children in our community through the backpack meal program.
Last year we raised about $200. If you don't want to make a soup, bring a dessert, cornbread, bread, or crackers, etc.
Also, bring some dollars to cast your vote for best soup. Each vote will cost you $1.00. You can make sure your spouse wins the coveted "Golden Ladle" award by buying lots of votes. LOL.
This event will be at Mike and Jean Moore's hangar behind our house at 244 Cirrus Ln. You can park in lot across from our home or the taxiway across from our hangar. Just watch for airplanes!
Hopefully we will see you next Saturday. We will furnish iced tea, water, and maybe coffee.
